Australia’s Ex Con bring ear splitting punk on their new 7″, just out today on the Bon Voyage music imprint. The band is a quartet based out of Melbourne, and on the new record they unleash a violent, proto-punk vibe with Joanna Nilson‘s out of control vocals delivering caustic and desperate rants! The 7″ was recorded live last year, in an after hours session, at the Woodland Bar ‘n Grill by Luke Walsh of the band Blank Realm, and this definitely gives the record a brutal, chaotic immediacy. This band also includes James Dalgliesh of Slug Guts on guitar, as well as Catherine Maddin on bass, and Alex Dunlop on drums. Somebody call these guys a mental health professional…
