It’s hard to know who the bigger scum bag is in OFF!‘s new video for the track “Hypnotized“, which will be on the band’s upcoming LP Wasted Years, due out April 8th via Vice Records. Directed by Chris Grismer, the video features David Yow (Jesus Lizard) as Super Hero wanna-be and low-life extraordinaire #1. The kinda guy that steals pills from his “girlfriend,” Yow wakes to a couple of tokes and a few lines of something, before donning a makeshift costume with USA stitched on it, and heading out to Hollywood Blvd. to watch OFF! play, while posing with some random moms and kiddies. Pathetic enough, Yow soon runs into a larger, more muscular Captain America, played by T.S.O.L.’s Jack Grisham, and it’s not long before he bullies Yow’s sad little caped character into a humiliating submission. Hmmm, smells like a metaphor for somethin’…OFF! will play at this years’ SXSW, before embarking on a US tour beginning in April. You can check out the dates below.
