Watch: Medicine “Move Along – Down The Road”

Medicine‘s new video for “Move Along – Down The Road” features some amazing, eye melting visuals from Vinyl Williams. Already known for his surreal collage art, video affords Williams the ability to go deep down the worm-hole of his mystical leaning imagination. For “Move Along – Down The Road” the artist creates constantly morphing 3-D imagery that seems to perpetually hang on that moment right before some hallucinogen like Salvia divinorum launches you into it’s maddeningly skewed reality. While it probably shouldn’t come as any surprise, it turns out the mind behind the video is pretty far out too, as Vinyl Williams had this to say when describing it:

“To me, ‘Move Along – Down The Road’ became about motion and its illusory properties. As one moves down the road, the objects going by on all sides appear to be moving, but are not. This conversely relates to how immeasurable our motion may be; if you were to account for the motion of our planet’s independent spin, its speed of motion rotating around the sun, the speed our solar system is rotating around the Milky Way, and the speed that the Milky Way rotates around the ultimate, then would we have our inherent velocity? It is incomprehensible.”

Yeah…what he said, bro! “Move Along – Down The Road” is off Medicine’s newest LP effort Home Everywhere, out now via Captured Tracks.
