Lightning Bolt‘s new 2xLP Fantasy Empire is out now on Thrill Jockey, and today we check out the duo’s killer video for “The Metal East“, off the album. The animated video, by NYC-based artist Lale Westvind, premiered this week on Adult Swim, and it features an eye-popping array of fantastic and alien creatures battling in a seemingly never ending melee of searing colors and bizarre forms. You know, basically the visual equivalent of Lightning Bolt’s music! The band kicks off a US tour later this month. You can catch the Brians here…
