Watch: Bambi Kino Duo ‘See Heat’ LP Trailer

Bambi Kino Duo is a musical collaboration between Chicago’s Brian Case (90 Day Men, The Ponys and Disappears) and analog synth player Justin Walter. Walter plays the Electronic Valve Instrument, a rare wind controlled synthesizer featured on his 2013 Kranky release, Lullabies & Nightmares. The record had been a morning staple for Case that year, and though just acquaintances, he invited Walter to help flesh out some more ambient-based musical ideas he’d been kicking around. Recorded in Chicago over two studio dates during 2014, the duo’s See Heat LP, due out November 7th via International Anthem Recording Company, collects together six tracks from those sessions. Today we watch the new See Heat trailer, directed by Maximilian Rossner, which pairs the duo’s meditative, though richly detailed music, with glowing and textured abstractions. Can’t wait to hear more from the upcoming effort!
