Savages will follow up their fiercely awesome Matador LP debut, 2013’s Silence Yourself, with Adore Life, another long-player due out via the label on January 22nd. Today we watch the band’s new video for “The Answer“, directed by Giorgio Testi. Filmed in Portugal, this stylized performance video features Savages playing live in a packed and sweaty loft space, as the band’s fans become increasingly unhinged. A celebration of the primal force of music, the video’s frenetic camera work captures the chaos of this sonically charged space, while band and crowd peel away the layers of mounting tension–in some cases quite literally–eventually working towards their exuberant and cathartic release.
