Tuesday’s the new Saturday…Tacocat extols the virtues of the mid-week weekend, and leaves Friday and Saturday for the workin’ stiffs! “I Hate the Weekend” is directed by Jessica Aceti, and it features singer Emily Nokes and a piñata-headed version of the band blowing minds at a candy-fueled house party. What, nobody told you there was gonna be a party? Get your head out of the sand, as Tacocat’s Lost Time LP is due out April 1st via Hardly Art.
And, while we’re on the subject of super rad, did you see Tacocat mentioned in Greil Marcus‘ Real Life Rock Top 10 last month, now a feature over at Pitchfork? How cool was that!
