Music News: The Album Leaf Streams ‘Between Waves’ LP Via NPR First Listen…
The Album Leaf‘s excellent upcoming LP Between Waves comes out Friday, August 26th on Relapse Records, and in anticipation of the release you can stream the album in full now via NPR’s First Listen. Meticulously crafted, Jimmy LaValle and company have distilled their sound too its essence–a perfect blend of uplifting melody and minimal electronics. Between Waves is the group’s first release for Relapse as well as their first since 2010’s A Chorus of Storytellers on Sub Pop. In addition, The Album Leaf announced last month on Pitchfork that they will reissue Orchestrated Rise To Fall and One Day I’ll Be On Time, two of their early LPs put out before joining Sub Pop.
