New Music Video: Beach House “Forever Still”

Inspired by Pink Floyd: Live At Pompeii, Beach House have created a long form performance/music video in collaboration with the folks at Pitchfork. The short film follows the band from sunset to sunrise as they perform four songs in outdoor locations around Tornillo, Texas, the locale for the recording of last year’s Sub Pop LP, Bloom. From a post on their website Beach House explains, “We wanted to perform in a non-typical setting without losing the spirit of our music. We felt the songs would resonate in a more majestic and spiritual landscape. The experience was an intense three nights of filming.”
