Mudhoney is back April 2nd with their ninth studio LP, Vanishing Point on Sub Pop, and the month will mark 25 years for both the band and the label! Recorded in April and September of last year at Seattle’s recording mecca Avast!, the band once again demonstrates on tracks such as “I Like It Small” and “The Only Son Of The Widow From Nain” why they are the alpha and omega of Seattle’s grunge sound! These two songs are our first previews from the album, and on the newest “I Like It Small”, Mudhoney’s blistering blues are played with punk abandon while Arm tosses his dumb is smart lyrical barbs with deadpan wit to reaffirm his allegiance for, “minimal production, low yields, limited appeal, dingy basements, and no expectations”!
