Inter Arma revisits their crushing psychedelic opus, Sky Burial (Relapse), releasing these eye melting visuals for the epic track “Destroyer“, off their 2013 LP. While the band draws from a deep bagful of metal tropes across the record, “Destroyer” is a particularly doom-laden affair, with a slow motion run time of just over ten minutes. Zoned-out riffs churn with astringent power, as this mutant five piece journeys towards the heart of the sun on this howling and propulsive cut. The video for “Destroyer” was edited by John Quiles, and he takes an apocalyptic tact thru some fiery stock footage–offering up gnarly blast-offs, interstellar interludes, and a finale of nuclear destruction.
