Visible Cloaks have a new video for “Neume (ft. Matt Carlson)“, off the duo’s upcoming LP Reassemblage, due out February 17th via RVNG Intl. The track features the Portland-based experimental musician Matt Carlson (Golden Retriever) and the visuals were designed by Brenna Murphy–also responsible for the album’s art. Like Visible Cloaks drifting compositions, Murphy’s day-glo colored structures can be perceptually disorienting, especially as they animate here. “Neume (ft. Matt Carlson)” incorporates the artist’s kaleidoscopic designs, alternating between swirling sheets of color, animating polygons and more delicate, multi-dimensional lattice work that melts like Dali’s soft clock.
