Unknown Mortal Orchestra released ll on February 5th via Jagjaguwar, and now we have the first official video from the album for the track, “So Good At Being In Trouble”. Directed by Danny Perez, the video features Superbad actor Chris Mintz-Plasse as a deranged, Venice Beach stalker obsessed with the girls in a New Age cult. Plenty of bad vibes and low-rent mysticism follows…Currently residing in Portland, OR, Unknown Mortal Orchestra brings together New Zealand’s Ruban Nielson, formerly of The Mint Chicks, with bassist Jake Portrait and drummer Greg Rogove for some Syd Barrett meets Ariel Pink lo-fi, psychedelics.
