New Video: Silent Lions “Terrible Days”

752

The Toledo, OH duo Silent Lions have a very cool new video for their track “Terrible Days“, off their self-released EP The Parliaments! The band is built around a rhythm section comprised of Dean Tartaglia on bass and Matt Klein on drums, and together the two repurpose the raw roots of rawk with heaping helpings of distorted effects and an intrinsic pop sense. On “Terrible Days”, a menacing bass tone knocks at the door with zombie-link insistence before the band unleashes it’s brand of swampy blues from the black lagoon. Driven by Tartaglia’s distorted vocals, rough and ready bass lines, and Matt Klein’s storms of electric drumming, this song comes through the door dripping in just the right amount of sonic scuzz! The video for the track makes awesome use of B movie horror footage to depict it’s terrible days narrative, putting it in projection over Tartaglia and Kline, as well as stylishly composited with torn and frayed, bubblegum colors. After the video, you can give a listen to Silent Lion’s debut EP The Parliaments. While you’re at it, why don’t you dig into your pocket and help the boys out. I mean, it’s “Pay What You Can”, man, and even Silent Lions gotta eat…I can hear you got some change in there!
