NYC psych trio White Hills deliver transcendent space rock of the highest order! The band is currently preparing the release of their seventh studio album So You Are…So You’ll Be, due out August 20th on Thrill Jockey. For the new LP White Hills return to record at BC Studios with legendary producer/songwriter Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, John Zorn, Swans, Unsane). On the cut “In Your Room“, guitarist Dave H unleashes some seriously scalding and glamorously stoned riffage, while bassist Ego Sensation and drummer Nick Name lock into deep and hypnotic, interstellar grooves. The art-damaged video for the track is directed by Ego Sensation, and it appears as though Dave H might be “safer” in one of those padded rooms. Don’t forget to look for White Hills in the new Jim Jarmusch film, Only Lovers Left Alive, which premiered at Cannes earlier this year.
