No Joy‘s new video for the track “Blue Neck Riviera” is out today. It’s directed by Canadian Jason Harvey, also responsible for No Joy’s “Hare Tarot Lies“, and here he presents a slightly altered reality that seems on the verge of collapse. Following a central, if not mysterious female protagonist, Harvey conjures up crumbling urban landscapes in conjunction with a seemingly haunted natural world, and each realm and image flickers and twists in ominous ways. “Blue Neck Riviera” is on No Joy’s April 2013 LP release Wait To Pleasure, out now on Mexican Summer. The band is currently on an extensive US and European tour, playing in Washington, DC tonight at the DC9 with Alex Calder, so check out the rest of the dates below.
