New Video: Dahga Bloom “I Don’t Know”

Dahga Bloom continues to roll out videos for every track on their upcoming LP No Curtains, due out later this year on Captcha Records, and today we have their newest effort for the cut “I Don’t Know“. The visuals feature another psychotronic mash-up of found footage, this time compositing a surreal stew that includes magically flying bowlers, a madly ticking clock, menacing and multiplying pistols, all slathered over with rudimentary animations and other foggy eye fuzz! Sonically, the band churns up a wicked and driving motorik rhythm on “I Don’t Know”, but it’s the noisy extras, like the industrial sounding lurch of the giant clock that opens the track, or later, the defoliating death ray scorching everything in earshot, that really impress! In addition, Dahga Bloom informs us via their Facebook page that the band’s Zach Nelson sings thru a Korg 770 ring modulator on the cut. May induce aural bleeding…
