Black Bananas have a psychotronic new video for “Hey Rockin“, created by Brain Drain Industries. Inspired by low budget horror flicks and presented like a VHS movie trailer, the video combines a toxic elixir of B-grade found footage with some awesome animated graphics from Pretzelworld. It’s all here, man…monster trucks, snakes, skateboards, stag and snuff films, footage of Jennifer Herrema in requisite faux-fur, heck, even a send-up to Purple Rain, as well! You can find “Hey Rockin” on the band’s 2014 LP Electric Brick Wall, out now on Drag City. In addition, on Thursday, December 4th, Black Bananas will perform with Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe, at the Forum at Miami Beach.
