Listen: Nite Fields “Winter’s Gone”

490

Nite Fields debut LP Depersonlisation comes out Feb. 3rd via Felte, and in anticipation of the new record the Australian quartet has made their track “Winter’s Gone” available for streaming. This gorgeous, mostly instrumental track, will be the album’s slow motion closer. Like snow falling in reverse, this track’s delicate guitar-line seems to somehow be falling upwards through atmospheric synth and muted trickles of drum. Danny Venzin adds sleepwalking vocals in a honeyed baritone, and, together with the rich warmth of muted bass, the two help thaw Nite Fields’ chilled atmospherics.
