Northwest metal monsters Lord Dying released their Poisoned Altars LP via Relapse Records last month, and now the Portland quartet has this sick new video for the album’s title track. Directed by Brett Roberts and “Danger” Ehren McGhehey, of Jackass fame, “Poisoned Altars” finds the band pitted against a nasty infestation of yuppie zombies. As Lord Dying’s vocalist/guitarist Erik Olson explains it, “In Portland we keep seeing our favorite hangs getting bulldozed for condo’s to go up and we wanted to return the favor.” Featuring cameos from Red Fang, Thrones, Yob, Witch Mountain and more, score one for the long-hairs here, as these righteous brothers build a giant, obliterating sound system powerful enough to blow-up downtown skyscrapers!
