Moon Duo‘s stellar LP Shadow of the Sun is out now on Sacred Bones, and today we check out the duo’s video for “Slow Down Low.” Directed by Föllakzoid’s Domingo Garcia-Huidobro, these head spinning visuals are the perfect accompaniment for this track’s warm and buoyant psychedelia. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Garcia-Huidobro turn in stunning work, though, as efforts for Föllakzoid’s “Pulsar“, and the more recent “Electric,” also displayed his facility for creating an absorbing optical experience from abstracted black and white footage. Here, he focuses on two young lovers, capturing their fused intimacy thru flashing and composited images, as we follow them on a long night of turned-on adventures.
