Let’s end the week on a high note! Chicago’s favorite thrash metal trio Oozing Wound is getting set to release their High Anxiety LP via Thrill Jockey on March 15th. This week the band has a new video for the album’s lead single “Tween Shitbag,” which first premiered via Adult Swim.
The animated visuals for the cut are directed by Sam Nigrosh of Trash City Comix and edited by Megan Diddie. The artist’s hand-scrawled stylings in black and white are the perfect accompaniment to the bands’ thrashing of self-important music industry types. Starring one Froggy Rock Bottom, this grenade tossing protagonist is out for a night filled with debauchery until an ill-advised acid trip sends him thru the looking glass.
