None Of Your Concern is a masked and anonymous electronic duo hailing from Chicago. Coming from “different sides of the musical spectrum,” we are told that one member is a “classically trained musician, performing arts teacher, and former dancer who uses the arts to promote social justice,” while the other “fronts a prominent Chicago-based LGBTQ+ punk band and has worked for a decade to bring multiple genres of music to the queer community on the West-side of Chicago.”
The pair has a haunting new singled entitled “Cinnamon” off their upcoming LP Primer due out April 24th. Rippling basslines phase across cavernous atmospherics before propulsive drums drive this cut out into the night air. Meanwhile, the duo trade spectral vocals in the dense neon mist of their darkwave sound; and while a formidable air of mystery pervades here, lyrically “Cinnamon” is an invitation to let your guard down in an act of intimate revelation.
