Watch Uniform’s The Killing of America Video:
Today we watch Uniform‘s powerful new video for the “The Killing of America“. You can find the track on the duo’s album Wake In Fright out today on Sacred Bones. Directed by Yussef Cole, the video focuses on gun violence in this country. A map of the United States documents the locations where violence has occurred while tallying the horrifying number of those killed by this violent epidemic. The Gun Violence Archive defines a mass shooting as four or more people injured or killed with a firearm. Furthermore, in 2016, the organization reports that there were 450 deaths due to such incidents. Cole’s video is a chilling reminder of these staggering numbers and as “hot spots” animate across the map we see that, while certain areas of the country seem more prone to violence, no state is immune to its’ effects.
