New Track: Meat Market “Too Tired”

497

Meat Market is a quartet of young lads from Oakland, and their Too Tired 7″ comes out September 3rd on Suicide Squeeze. Drawing their influences from all things punked-up and garage, Meat Market isn’t scared to throw in a handful of glam, too, as you can hear on the EP’s title track! On the cut they claim they’re “too tired to try”, and yet they manage to unleash some high-octane riffage on this rambunctious, pop-punk ripper. The boy’s met while studying at UC Santa Cruz, and cut their musical teeth playing house parties and lo-fi venues up and down the West coast. In 2012, Meat Market released a 10-song self-titled LP on the LA label Under the Gun. Look for their new 7″ to come out on limited-edition vinyl, including 100 on “coke-bottle clear”!
