Special Feelings “Bapjizzim”

Special Feelings celebrate the “normality of nudity, sexuality, gender fluidity, and all things LGBTQIA+” in the new video for their stoner-jazz track, “Bapjizzim.” The project was started by the Western Australia (Perth/Boorloo) based duo of Naomi Robinson and Polly-Pearl, and it operates as a fluid collective of like-minded musicians and artists.

The group’s new cut is akin to lighting up the night’s first spliff as horns and keys combine to impart a laid-back and smiley vibe while the bass and rhythm section set everything in motion with a joyful and footloose groove. The video for the song finds the collective and friends challenging and transcending societal taboos. The result is a psychedelically infused and delightfully unfiltered clip that embraces the free expression of gender and sexuality.

You can find Special Feelings “Bapjizzim” on SHOUTS 2021, a new 21-track compilation of world-spanning artists from Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section International imprint.
