Someone might want to tell Fuck Buttons to stop doing that with their faces, or they might get stuck like that. In the video for “Brainfreeze“, directed by the duo’s Andrew Hung, the boys have some fun with the Warp Effect making themselves look like they might be suffering from a wicked case of encephalitis. It doesn’t help that they’re filming themselves displaying all sorts of repugnant and grotesque facial expressions, and watching the video, I can’t help feeling like they shot themselves sitting on the toilette. If so, nice touch guys! Sure adds another dimension of meaning to the term “fuck face”! Well, anyways, “Brainfreeze” is off the duo’s third and most recent LP Slow Focus, out now via ATP Recordings. Look for the track to be released as a limited edition 12″ on clear vinyl, and as a 2-track digital download on October 8th via ATP. Both versions will contain a new cut called “Royal Flush“. Fuck Buttons land in the US for a tour that begins next week in San Francisco, so check the dates below.
