Shannon and the Clams‘ Dreams in the Rat House LP (Hardly Art) has been one of our favorite pieces of honky-tonk punk trash released all year. I promise, its late night garage anthems are perfect for getting the juke joint jumpin’! Today the band delivered a new video for “Rat House” directed by Shannon Shaw herself, and filmed and edited by the band’s guitarist Cody Blanchard. All kinds of silliness ensues as a fried chicken-fisted drummer pounds the skins, long-haired furries make haste on their skateboards, and handfuls of colored glitter fly.
