Watch: Kline Coma Zero “Camera Talk I”

604

Tony Williams’ analogue synth project Kline Coma Zero‘s self-titled debut LP is out now on Seattle’s Medical Records, and today we take a look at the video for “Camera Talk I“. Using a pair of small screens laid over a randomly mutating grid pattern, the video takes it’s lead from the title, using one screen to show a cameraman and his camera, and the other to show two alternating, sometimes melding, male and female forms striking “body-builder” like poses. The video, all in a hard crushed black and white, has just the right kind of creepy feel, as layers of voyeurism are enacted in these small screen sequences when a cameraman breaks the fourth wall by walking up and peering into the camera filming him, or a shirtless and bald figure stares back at the viewer with a brazen kind of impudence!
