The band’s rapper Daveed Diggs, and producers William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes, are joined by a collection of mates on these two “posse cuts” that include verses from Signor Benedick the Moor, Nocando, Open Mike Eagle, Black Mushroom, and more.
“something they don’t know” does indeed feature a tangle of almost recognizable samples, while demonstrating Huston and Snipes’ uncanny ability to mix oblique and noisy odds-and-ends into a disorienting but cinematic soundscape.
