Must be something about the water in Olympia, as Strange Wilds get that grunge thing so right on their 2015 Sub Pop debut LP, Subjective Concepts. Today we watch the band’s new video for “Disdain“, which finds the group hooking back up with David Hoekje, director of their garbage filled romp, “Pronoia”. Here, they do that good cop/bad cop thing, except there’s no good cop. Just one mighty bad cop out on a drug fueled, flag burning bender–and Strange Wilds sea-sick punk is the perfect soundtrack for his salacious exploits.
