The Horse Traders hail from the hills of West Virginia, and the boys got a brand new EP out called I Don’t Mind. As the days heat up, maybe you’re like me and you got some porch sittin’ and whiskey sippin’ to do–with good tunes on the record player to keep you company! If that’s the case, you won’t go wrong with what the Traders are dealin’ in on the EP’s lead single.
Sometimes you got to keep your nights to yourself and sleep “diagonal in the bed”, as this song says. That’s alright, though, these guys got just the cure to nurse you back on your feet, and it’s a shot of their country fried rock delivered with Southern ease. Don’t believe me, just watch the video and you’ll see these guys make music the ways it’s supposed to be made. There’s an effortlessness here, as well as a DIY vibe, and it translates into a rugged, well-worn music tied together by good friends who obviously love what they’re doing.
