Georgia-based electronic music producer Chris Powers, aka C Powers, will release his All Right EP via Alliance Upholstery on January 28th. The record’s sample-based title track begins from an off-kilter tangle of lo-fi drums before deeper bass elements and a playful melodic line bubble to the surface. As the cut gains cohesion, Powers adds forward driving rhythmic force while filtering chords and a vocal sample thru the mix. By mid-point, “All Right” has reached a head-spinning complexity of flashing neon and its’ exhilarating house-driven rhythm is sure to lighten moods and feet alike! Look for the 12″ to contain remixes of the track by Parris Mitchell (Dance Mania), Kai Alce (NDATL), and John Barerra/Will Martin (Dolly, Argot). In addition, digital copies will include a remix from Don Knotts (aka Dan Briggs, Stray Current/NYC), as well as a stripped down drums/vocals version that is definitely dance floor ready for inclusion in your next DJ set.
