Wand is readying a 2xLP entitled Laughing Matter for release on April 19th via Drag City. Today, the LA-based quintet gave us a little taste of things to come with this new video for the album track “Walkie Talkie.” On the cut, the group melds psych and post-punk into a bubbling brew of Silver Apples meets Orange Juice. Hypnotic organ trades jabs with a snare before scruffed up guitar sets everything on fire. Meanwhile, vocalist Cory Hanson dances around the noise with an exuberant and joyful delivery.
