Avey Tare has a new video for “K.C. Yours.” The track is off Dave Portner‘s 2019 LP Cows On Hourglass Pond out via Domino Records, as well as the new “K.C. Yours” EP out now on the label. In addition to the title track and its’ live version, the new Avey Tare EP also contains live takes of the LP cuts “Remember Mayan” and “Eyes On Eyes.” The latter two were recorded at The Echo in Los Angeles, while “K.C. Yours” was captured at Antone’s in Austin, TX.
The video for “K.C. Yours” was created by Black Dice’s Aaron Warren using clips filmed by Abigail Portner and Garret Curtis. The track’s vocal delivery finds Portner at his best as he filters his surreal glee thru all kinds of mushroomy weirdness making for a palpable psychedelia. Warren follows suit with a hard mix of composited images creating abstract geometrics in vibrant neons.
