Playing a little catch-up today…Somehow the Sonic Boom video for “Tawkin Tekno” snuck by us this month, but we’re here to rectify that! The cut is off his June LP release All Things Being Equal out now on Carpark Records. “Tawkin Tekno” follows on the heels of several other standout videos from the album including “Things Like This (A Little Bit Deeper)” and “The Way That You Live.”
The newest visuals were created by JP from Special Cases, the Chilean psych rock outfit. Combining animated footage depicting the interplay of genetics and cellular biology with footage of a modern dancer, JP makes clear that our interconnected human architecture is indeed an exquisite form perfect for increasingly rarefied modes of perception.
