Marcus Lambkin’s Shit Robot project returned last month to drop the Feels Real 7″ (DFA Records), with it’s title track delivering 8-minutes of slinky, funked out disco featuring impressive, diva-style falsetto from The Rapture’s Luke Jenner. Today we have the new video for the track directed by Charlie Doran, who also VJs under the name Cool Hand Loop. Focusing on a variety of mouths singing in unison with the track’s slightly creepy lyrics, Doran pushes a simple concept to the breaking point by collaging various channels of these mouths on top of each other, to create some really freaky faces! Shit Robot will be spinning records at a couple night clubs in the States, starting tomorrow at Washington’s U Street Music Hall. Don’t miss the dates below.
