Jacuzzi Boys “Double Vision”

Jacuzzi Boys have a new video for “Double Vision” off their killer 7″ of the same name out now on Hardly Art. The video is directed by Corey Adams and it features a very unlucky/lucky old guy who suffers from a bad case of Stockholm syndrome after being car-jacked by a pack of booze fueled bad girls. I guess love “don’t feel like it should,” unless it “hurts so good.” I bet that’s a maxim the Jacuzzi Boys could get behind!

Over the years, this power-pop trio has really refined their sound from it’s swampy, fuzzed-out roots into the highly reflective surface that is “Double Vision“. This track still retains plenty of sonic grit via Gabriel Alcala‘s blaring guitar solos and staccato vocal delivery, as well as host of other difficult to discern sounds! The trio’s upcoming self-titled LP was recorded at The Key Club Recording Company. The studio, which is in an old locksmith building on the shores of Lake Michigan, is also home to a Flickinger console originally custom-built for Sly Stone! Now, how cool is that?
