“Lilac” presents a spinning array of computer generated imagery depicting strange, geometrically shaped flowers and miniature day-glo colored buildings that mutate in and out of existence as though following the rhythms of some mysterious natural cycle. Sonically striking, “Lilac” seems to pulse with organic life. Built around a mantric lyric stanza about a “door between us…made out of something like light, but not”, turns this confounding contradiction into a post-prog, electro-rock celebration of epic proportions! Truly a stunning track!!
